The short story is originally published in The Sketch Magazine (UK) in 1924 on February 6: The Yellow Jasmine Mystery1.

In the US, there is no publication of the short story version.
However, the (detective) novel version is first published in a serialised version in The Blue Book Magazine in August 1927: The Yellow Jasmine Mystery.
