The serial is published in an abriedged version in eight instalments in John Bull (UK) between January 13 (Vol. 89, No. 2324) and Match 3 (Vol. 89, No. 2331) in 1951 with illustrations by "Showell". 
NOTE! A later serialisation is published in Canada under the same title, They Came to Baghdad.
