The serial is published in an abridged version in one instalment in Cosmopolitan (US) in January 1964 (Vol. 156, No. 1) with illustrations by Al Parker.
NOTE! An earlier serialisation is published in the UK under the same title, The Clocks.

Published in the US the following year: American Edition.

Swedish title:

Klockorna 1964 (Albert Bonniers Förlag - Softcover) and in a special Variant cover.
The first Swedish edition is also published in Hardcover with dust jacket, in a partial edition published by Schildts Förlag.
